The Bible
The ground of our belief is the Bible: we believe in all 66 books in the Bible making up the Old and New Testaments. This shapes every area of our life.
The Trinity
We believe in the Trinity as one God expressed in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. All three have always been and are equally God.
The Son
We believe, teach and confess that Jesus Christ is the son of God and the only Savior of the world from sin, death and Satan, whom Christ defeated through His sinless life, death, and resurrection.
The Gospel
We believe salvation is not by our work, but by grace alone. God loves the people of the world even though we are sinful, rebel against Him, and do not deserve His love. He sent Jesus, His Son, to love the unlovable and save the ungodly. God’s undeserved kindness to us in Christ is what we call “grace.”
The Practices
Baptism
We believe in believer’s baptism by immersion because this is very clear in the Bible.
The Lord’s Supper
We receive the Lord’s supper consisting of the elements of bread and wine, symbolic of our sharing in His body and blood as memorial of His suffering and death and prophecy of His second coming.
